The franchise system was launched in Germany in 1999 with the opening of the Munich pilot outlet. Caffè Streiflicht was situated in the historic publishing house of the “Süddeutsche Zeitung“, Southern Germany’s largest daily newspaper, and takes its name from the column on the title page. Caffè Streiflicht was the training outlet for our partners from Germany and abroad.
