The success of Testa Rossa caffè and the growing trend towards coffee bars of all kinds served as the inspiration for the development of the Testa Rossa caffèbar concept. The concept was fine-tuned and tested over several years in the company’s own outlets and underwent an extensive period of development before the first franchise licences were awarded. Today, a variety of outlet types offer an ideal solution for every location and every requirement.


The first Testa Rossa caffèbar was opened in August 1999 in Innsbruck. The flagship store in Munich – which is still the pilot and training operation for the system as a whole - followed in December of the same year.

A dynamic expansion programme is planned for the future in these countries, together with expansion into other European countries.
